How much do you know your Wedding? Part 5 Hand Bouquet

I'm not a girl and I don't have much affections towards flowers and I don't know much about flowers and their species. I remember I received my first bouquet of flower from my parents when they attended my show in MIFW 2008. I felt so happy when receive the flower bouquet on the stage, but after that, I felt embarass to carry a flower bouquet and walking all around the mall.

Wedding and flower bouquet can't live without each other. When a man wants to propose, he still need to order a special designed flower bouquet for her lovely girlfriend. So, I believe one day I'm gonna order a special flower bouquet to my girlfriend too.

Some customer will ask what type of flower bouquet design which they need to get to match with their gown or what kind of flower that looks nice in a bouquet? Sorry, in my mind I just know Lavender and Roses. Why I love this two? I used to order both of these flowers as they are sold in teabags during my tea time with friends LOL. How about yours? And some flowers are also very expensive, because those type of flowers are usually imported from other countries.

Sometime, I will think about how many guys out there that will use 9999 roses for his proposal, will you? So sometime, watching to much drama will make a girl confuse and keep dreaming whether their boyfriends will do the same thing for them? Sorry, if your boyfriend is rich enough, maybe he can, but he still love you right? Okay, lets stop this topic here. I'm gonna show you what kind of the hand bouquet is nice for your wedding.

A hand bouquet, you don't need to over spend in it. Some are simple and nice enough for you to march down the church aisle. Lets see it.

This is a few design which I like. Choosing something simple will do and it will not go wrong, always! So, how about your hand bouquet? I believe, you can choose the flower with your floral designer and ask for something more special for your wedding, maybe you can follow back your theme that you had set earlier? ^^

I know some floral designer which they can make something more special for you, of course, the price will be higher then the normal hand bouquet. For me, I won't pay so much just for to get a hand bouquet, lol. Just follow what you want. Okay, gonna stop here. Try to leave any comment if you wish to ask, thank you.

Colouring & Skecthing

Some of my friends will ask me to show them my some of my sketching, and after I showed them, they'll keep asking me why I can sketch and colour my sketch untill it look so nice. But, they don't know how ugly my sketches was last time. I practice a lot using plenty of A4 paper. I can't even draw a nice human face, hand or body. So, I do believe in one thing, if you don't give up what you don't know, one day you can be successful!

For me, a pretty or nice sketch doesn't mean anything. The most important thing is your can create out what you sketch. Some people can't draw well, but they have other skills which that they are good in like sewing or eyes towards details. So don't simply judge a person if you don't know them. All of us are the same, still in the learning process till the end.

Do you know any famous designer's sketch? Local designers sketches which  I love are Eric Chong, Carven Ong & Lester Wong's sketch. If world famous design, I think Karl Lagerfeld, Valentino, Marc Jacobs & many more. Sometimes, I will go to Google to look for their sketch & try to understand what their sketch is and why can they easily get nice inspirations. Inspirations are just like Ghost, you can't see them being there and you don't know when they will come. You need to keep researching on Google or go somewhere to get your inspiration juice running. I tried asking some local designer why they can easily get inspiration when they create a whole collection for their fashion show. They just answer me this " Go for a travel to relax yourself. You will see lots of different things from your travel." I don't even believe at first but once I visited some country, I and maybe you will understand what these seniors in fashion designing are talking about. Relaxing doesn't mean we put a pause in our job, but merely take a break to draw in more inspiration in a way still working while relaxing!

Normally I will sketch and colour on my drawing paper, but after finishing them, I will scan them into my computer and then using Photoshop, to edit some nice effect and to make the colour more vivid! I love Coffee

Happy Saturday Morning. I couldn't sleep well last night and I had finished watching 3 movie with my Ipad on my bed until this morning and I decided to wake up early and visit Starbucks. There is something about Starbucks which I enjoy going. I guess this is what you called in love with their coffee? I started enjoying drinking coffee when I was studying fashion in Kuala Lumpur. Now, while I enjoy my coffee and blogging about it, at the same time, enjoying nice song with my Ipod. How nice if I could do this every single day?! But, I still need to work and earn good money. How was your Saturday? Accompany your parents to the market or having breakfast with them or alone? I do believe for you young loves out there, you might be accompanying your lover out for shopping sessions or to the movies right ? Don't waste your Saturday guys! Enjoy it!!

Okay, okay, back to my topic! When I was still 12 years old or younger, I don't even understand why my daddy love and enjoys drinking Espresso. I had tasted Espresso and felt it tasted like "shit" (not knowing how shit taste like anyway) because I just know how bitter it is. But, now I fall in love with Caffe Americano so much.

I remember my elder sister taught me how to drink Mocha when I hated bitter Americano. She is one of the typical stereotype kind of coffee lover. We always treat each other to Starbucks, lol and I don't know what is the reason I changed to Americano. All my friend kept asking me why do I enjoy drinking something so blakc and bitter and only gives me the outlook of an old man drinking bitter coffee!! Well, I do believe each individual have a certain liking towards coffee. Some might like Fraps but hates Mocha and you will be asking .... "Where is the logic in that?" Well, guys, don't ask me why again, this is a hard question to answer, and I'm so sorry! I just couldn't explain.

Nowadays, I'm used to drinking a cup of coffee before I start any of my work. I prefer coffee more then a meal of breakfast or lunch. I know a cup of coffee is a good for health, but I usually drink more then a cup. Almost all of my pocket money is spent on my coffees. I was thinking, if I kept all those money, I can actually invest in a coffee house, lolol. And I don't even know why I don't want to buy a coffee machine for myself, maybe because I don't trust a self operated machine can make a nice cup of coffee, lol.

Maybe, one day, when I'm not a designer anymore, I wish to own and run a coffee shop in which I can brew nice coffee to all coffee lovers out there. This is part of my dream and also my elder sister's dream. Of course, this coffee shop will open overseas, maybe in Australia. Why Australia? Because my sister is staying in Australia, lol. Before I had this coffee shop, of course I will learn how to brew nice coffee and I wish to learn Latte Art. I know for a fact that Groupon always have promotions for coffee brewing classes, but I had no friends to accompany me to attend this class.... Maybe to them, it is not interesting and maybe they think that t doesn't, as the americans says " Doesn't pay the bills" .

Latte Art is one of the finer art in the world. By just using coffee and milk foam which it can create out different designs and patterns on top of the coffee, how beautiful is it to look at! I always wanted to learn this art and make lot of different cup of Latte to my friends or my LOVER. How sweet right? I'm still single, so still got time for me to learn & prepare to make it for my LOVER.

How much do you know your Wedding? Part 4 Hair- styling & Makeup

If you thinking about leaving you Hairstyling and Makeup to your hairstylist or makeup artist to think about it, you are WRONG. Don't be a lazy bride, it is a very important decision for your big day. Although you wearing this perfect absolutely beautiful wedding dress but you have a "Shit" makeup or hairdo, I'm sure you will keep blaming your makeup artist/ hairstylist for it. Don't blame them if you having this problem, they are professional enough and it is just you, who do not do enough homework before you let them know what you want!

How do you know what hairstyle or makeup suits you for your big day? Let me start one by one, but, this is in my opinion. After reading my blog, you still can go look for more professional to get more information. I had learn about makeup and hairdo while I was still studying, so I still know some knowledge in makeup and hairdo. So lets start~

Bridal Hairstyle
When choosing a hairstyle, you will need to know if it fits your location of your wedding too. Why do I say so? For an example, if you having a curly and long hair, but your location is around the sea side, I believe you will get a messy hairdo after few seconds of walking on the red carpet. This will look weird, and you can't take any nice picture on your big day. So you have to keep remembering about your location and does it match your whole outlook.

Don't over do your hair, "Less is More ". Keep in mind that simple look will make you look more prefect and pretty. Don't try to add more details into it. I'll show you some picture which I grab from Google that is easy to match all the gown.

You can see all the hair is elegant and nice, because they have a simple styling to it, and by just adding some flower to be the decoration. Why not try this for your wedding which is coming soon. Even celebrities, having a nice and simple hair do in which to can use to attend the red carpet function for awards. You can make the same thing too.

Bridal Makeup
Makeup is always the hard part for a pretty girl. Keep asking "Why?!?" again right? If you put on a wrong shade of colour or too much make up, in the end, you will look like this!

Oppps, Kidding... lol! Of course, your makeup artist wont draw your pretty face to be like this picture.
If you can, try asking your makeup artist to give a sample makeup or test makeup before your big day, in which you might need pay for the test, but why not, right?

For Asian girls, please don't go for the heavy smokey eye, especially black smokey eye. Black smokey will make the look too over done and will give us the impression or should I say make us look more like a panda especially those with oily skin texture. 

Choose something natural or a nude makeup palatte, which is good for every bride and easy to match your hairstyle and your gown. If your makeup artist knows how to use air-brushing technique, why not try it? It will make your skin more prefect. Of course, the price will be higher. Just one time in your life, just pay a litle extra for something which will make your more pretty. It is your big day isn't it ? Your suppose to feel like a star or a princess or a queen ~ ^^

Jill back from busy October

Jill is back!!! Had been busy for the month of October, facing two shows for the pass months. If you follow "Weddinspired" Twitter, you will know I've been sponsoring gowns to ATV Miss Asia Pageant Malaysia 2012 and is a guess judge for their Final Round, attending two event, The Hottest Hunk Malaysia 2012 and Toyota Annual Dinner 2012 and of course my friend's restaurant's grand opening in Cheras Mahkota. Sound fun right? Actually is quite tiring, but I'm enjoying every moment. The photos are still with the photographer, and I will post it and blog about ATV Miss Asia Pageant Malaysia once I get those photos.

Now, I'm enjoying my coffee in Starbucks and I'm thinking what I should blog about next. Had stop blogging about my projects for around a month plus. So sorry if you are my followers. Yeah! I know what I'm gonna blog about, I should continue " How much do you know about your Wedding?"

At the same time, I gonna congratulate my elder sister Angeline Ng and my brother in law Jason Vickary for having a new born into their lovely family.
