As a fashion designer, we always need to have photo-shootings and then update to our own website, same goes for me. The passed few weeks, I went back to my hometown "Taiping" (Perak) for the photo-shooting session with two of my favourite models and my professional team of photographers.
Frankly speaking, this shooting trip was planned at the last minute, or you can say its within a week's time, I need to confirm most of the stuff and prepare well and make sure everything has no mistakes. Luckily, with the modern technology of the world, of course by using whataspp ( group chat la ;) ), we discuss the location and timing and progresses to face throughout the trip.
We started our shooting on Saturday morning and we went back the night before which is Friday after work. The models and I have to wake up by 5 A.M for make-up and hair-styled preparations. Around 2hours, nearly 7A.M, we had a quick breakfast and started our shooting at the location which we had decided to go.
That weather was extremely hot for us!!! Felt like fainting ...@.@ sweated like hell too...oh god! Fortunately, thank god for blessing us, we wrapped before the rain comes,as earlier that day, my mom had told me its been raining like cats and dogs for the passed few days.
At the first location, we did 5 different styles of shooting
there. Can you imagine, how the models managed to change my gowns??? Same as my previous page which I had mentioned before, they changed in the car! And I experienced what the so called 5mins fast changed as a professional model is. Salute them ! Then, we had a short break. I send them to my friends hair saloon to rest a little and had lunch. At the same time I made a request from my friend to provide my models with a hair wash spa....lol! Cause, I know they must be quite tired after posing under the big hot sun since morning. And I'm sure they are feeling very exhausted ><" Anyway, I would like to say thank you to my lovely models and photographers too.
After everything is ready (new makeup, hairdo & well rested), we started our shooting again for the last 6 pieces of my gown that I had brought for this shooting. Actually, we planed to finish in two days time, how would I have known that my professional models and photographer finish in one day (7 A.M to 8 P.M)!!! Thank God ^^
Once we arrive home, my lovely mom had been preparing dinner for us. Guess what??? It is homemade Asam Laksa! Thanks Mom ^^ and I love you. Once we finish our dinner, we chilled and watch a drama in a comfortable room. But, I had fallen asleep on the floor when I was watching the drama ==" Few hours later, they wake me up and asked for supper, lol
The next morning, I brought them to enjoy a nice breakfast around Taiping and visit Taiping Museum. Around 2 P.M my dad phoned me and said he wanted to treat them to a good lunch before they travel back to Kuala Lumpur. My dad brought us to have seafood as lunch, YiPiiiiii
We went back to rest for a bit and was ready to head back to Kuala Lumpur at 8 P.M. But, one of my model need to go back to Kedah by train at 3 A.M so I stayed back with her and send her to the train station. We chilled and have coffee at Starbucks. After finishing the coffee, we had beer at my house untill 2.30 A.M and I send her to the train station. This is the 3 Night 2 Day trip in Taiping for shooting (actually just one days shoot, lol).
I love photo-shooting because I can get all the awesome photos to cheer me up (the gowns which I had created) and also can work with my nice model friends and photographers. But, why I hate photo-shooting? It is because I will be exhausted to the max and need one whole day to have a proper rest and need to make long preparation for all the stuff/work. I don't really bother about my feelings because in the end I'm very happy and glad to see all the nice photos that has been shot.
